Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta
Prestigious regatta opening the Mediterranean superyacht season
The Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta opens the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda sporting season and the superyacht racing season in the Mediterranean. The four day coastal race is set against the unique backdrop of the La Maddalena Archipelago and accompanied by glamorous social occasions ashore. The event also includes the Southern Wind Rendevouz and Trophy, gathering together boats from the shipyard to sail in company in the waters of northern Sardinia.
Highly competitive superyacht regatta
Organised since 2008 by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda the regatta is open to superyachts with a minimum length of 90 feet and multihulls of at least 50 feet in length. This highly competitive superyacht regatta is featuring challenging courses through the emerald waters of Sardinia, sailing around the Islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago.
Glamorous social programm
With this event being dedicated exclusively to sailing superyachts there is always a great line-up of an imposing fleet meeting up in the prestigious hotspot of Porto Cervo. Next to challenging courses and competitive sailing this event is known for its glamorous social programm, hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. Owners and their crews are looking forward to a wonderful week of sailing thanks to the beautiful scenery and perfect conditions awaiting them in northern Sardinia.
